Welcome to a new week everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  I celebrated a friend’s birthday on Saturday with a group of amazing girls and then hit up Seymour for some early morning snow shoeing on Sunday.  There couldn’t have been a better day for it with fresh powder on the trails and sunshine on our faces.  What did you get up to? 

                                                 

Après our mountain trek (and by mountain trek, I mean 1.5 hour snow shoeing stroll), we checked out a new to Vancouver furniture store called CB2.  We received the flyer in the mail a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t wait to visit.  The official grand opening of the Robson location took place on Feb 19, but on Sunday, the store was still abuzz with Vancouverites exploring for the first time.  Decked out in our most fashionable snow gear, we soaked up every inch of the 8500 sq. ft. space and weren’t disappointed.  The Crate & Barrel offshoot carries a wide range of modern and funky furniture and décor pieces at affordable prices.  I was especially in love with the bright colours (think chartreuse everywhere!).  From the staples to the trends, I think this store brings something fresh to the Vancouver furniture scene and is an ideal place to find pieces for your loft or apartment.  If you haven’t already checked it out, I’d recommend a visit.  Please excuse my shotty cell phone pics…it’s all I had! xoxo
